Weldclass Platinum Cast Iron NiFe Electrodes
are recommended for the repair and reclamation of all standard grades of grey/malleable, nodular, SG, and austenitic cast irons, as well as some grades of Meehanite cast iron. These electrodes are stronger and more resistant to solidification cracking than pure nickel electrode types (such as Ni-Cl), and they produce fully machinable weld deposits. Applications include machine bases, pipes, gear teeth, pump bodies, heavy machine sections, flanges, and pulleys. Additionally, they are easy to use and suitable for low OCV (open circuit voltage) welding machines (>45V).
