Quell Long-Life Photoelectric Smoke Alarm
is designed to be tamper-proof, with a sealed-in lithium battery that prevents removal and ensures the alarm is always active. The photoelectric sensor detects visible particles from smouldering fires, and the alarm is automatically activated upon installation. The Smart Hush button and test/reset button allow for easy management of the alarm’s functions, including silencing false alarms and testing the circuitry. An end-of-life signal chirps every 30-45 seconds to indicate when the alarm needs to be replaced. The deactivation switch allows for safe battery disposal at the end of its 10-year lifespan, and the product comes with a 10-year limited warranty for added assurance. This smoke alarm complies with Australian Standard AS 3786:2014 incl. Amdt 1 and is Activfire listed for quality assurance.
