Additionally, the stems in the stirrups are sealed for termite protection in compliance with
AS1397-2001
. The stirrup itself has a thickness of 4mm, ensuring a solid and reliable foundation. The half stirrup post anchor is primarily designed for bolting to existing concrete but can also be cast-in with a minimum clearance of 75mm. This design is particularly suited for situations where the post is positioned against a wall or step and can only be bolted from one side.
