Description
The
Crescent Nicholson round knurl-cut chainsaw file
with an American pattern is designed for optimal performance. For best results, position the file against the beveled cutting surface of the teeth at an angle between 20° to 45° with a saw, and file from the inside to the outside of the cutter. Sharpen all left-hand cutters on one side of the chain, then move to the other side to file all the right-hand cutters. The height between the cutting teeth and the depth gauge should be between .020″ to .030″ — ensure to check the depth gauge height every 2 or 3 sharpenings. Tighten the tension on the chain to firmly support cutters when filing.
Crafted from premium steel materials, this file offers exceptional durability and longevity. It features double-cut teeth that efficiently remove material and enhance the cutting performance of your chainsaw blade. Equipped with an ergonomic handle, this file provides a comfortable and secure grip, ensuring ease of use during prolonged tasks.
