T Blade Post Anchor
delivers a clean, concealed look for timber posts while providing heavy-duty performance for bolting onto concrete surfaces. Engineered for specialty timbers and architectural applications, it’s ideal where a hidden post support is desired on large decorative posts made from Cypress, Merbau, Jarrah, Spotted Gum, and similar hardwoods.
Built with a 10mm thick steel blade and base, this concealed post support offers a robust, rigid connection to concrete. A concealed weld strengthens the junction between the vertical and horizontal plates, enhancing structural integrity and long-term durability under load. The design allows the fixing hardware to remain the only visible element once installed, achieving a neat, streamlined finish that complements premium timber projects such as pergolas, verandahs, decks, and feature posts.
Installation is simple: cut a slot in the base of the timber post to fit over the support, position on the concrete base, and bolt down. The listed bolt sizes represent the maximum that fit the pre-formed holes and are those used during testing to achieve maximum ratings. Fabricated from galvanized steel for corrosion resistance, with stainless steel options available by special order to suit coastal or high-exposure environments. Matching concealing caps are available separately to complete the hidden-look aesthetic.
