Description

Double Cylinder Deadlatch with Safety Release SC
from Whitco is a reliable, heavy-duty deadbolt latch. The concealed anchorage points include a door frame strengthener to provide maximum security and durability. This deadlatch features keyed locking on either side of the knob, allowing it to be unlocked with a single turn even when deadlocked. The hold-back feature can be operated by either the inside turn knob or by the external key. It is constructed of stainless steel and can be installed on a standard inactive edge door.
The
Safety Release
feature automatically unlocks the inside knob on the entry. It suits left or right-hand opening doors and is compatible with inward-opening timber frame doors or inward-opening metal frame doors with an optional metal frame strike. The door thickness range is from 30mm to 45mm, and it has a 60mm cylinder backset. The locking bolt automatically deadlatches when the door is closed, ensuring enhanced security.
