Description
The
Brown
chain type operator for awning windows is designed to suit both aluminium and timber awning windows equipped with butt or hook hinges, or non-friction stays. The chain can be restricted to either a 100mm or 150mm opening length by fitting a restrictor clip, which helps the window comply with Building Code Australia requirements D2.24 for the protection of operable windows. This feature ensures smooth operation and allows for through flyscreen operation.
The maximum opening for this operator is 300mm, requiring 19 handle turns to fully open. The foldable knob in the handle reduces width, preventing damage and interference with blinds. Additionally, a corrosion-resistant version is available, featuring a stainless steel chain and stainless steel base plate for enhanced durability.
