to achieve a satin finish, or use it on bare and sealed wood for a smooth, clear finish. This product is ideal for external timber, including window frames, doors, and trims.
Preparation is key for the best results. For new timber, sand to a uniform, smooth surface, ensuring it is dry and free from dirt, dust, wax, and oils. For grey and weathered timber with no previous coating, sand back to a fresh surface and remove sanding dust. For paints, varnishes, or coatings in varied conditions, thoroughly remove all coatings back to bare timber. For all composites and bamboo substrates, sand and remove sanding dust, then check for adhesion by applying
UltraClear Exterior
to a test area. If the coating is removed, the surface is not suitable. If mold is present, use
Intergrain UltraPrep Mould Killer
to remove it effectively before coating.
