is a solvent-based preparation designed to clean and prime PVC-U pipes and fittings prior to applying
Bostik PVC Solvent Cements
. By removing surface contaminants and softening the PVC, it promotes optimal bonding performance and long-lasting joints in plumbing installations.
Engineered for reliability and safety, this primer is WaterMark certified as per the Plumbing Code of Australia and conforms to AS/NZS 3879 when used with Type N and Type P solvent cements. It is suitable for potable water applications, meeting AS/NZS 4020 specifications. The low VOC formulation supports a safer, more environmentally considerate application.
Ready to use with no mixing required, it features a good application viscosity for easy, controlled coverage and minimal dripping. For bottles 1L and under, a convenient, easy-to-use ‘dauber’ applicator is included in the cap to streamline on-site application. Colour-coded packaging assists quick product selection.
